If I understand you, the error does not occur when the runtime files are in the main folder.

Someone else may be able to address the actual problem, but you may want to know that I have had good luck running my app by copying the EXE and all the runtime files to a directory on the C: drive. The actual data is on the network server.

The EXE file finds everything it needs and doesn't create network traffic for overlays. I have a launcher program that automatically loads any new version to the C: drive.

>A customer who just ran our update to move from VFP 7 to VFP 9 got this error message when starting the program. We could not get the program to work until we copied the VFP 9 Runtime files directly into the users data/program folder. Can anyone give any insight on what could cause this? Thanks! By the way the case/syntax/spelling of the dialogue box title contents are correct.
