Whoa! I didn't say sabotage! It could easily be a simple mistake! The user that did it may not even be aware of what cause it had. Now that it's done and the effect is evident, they probably don't want to own up now, in any case, especially if you start a witch hunt for a saboteur.

I prefer the user not have create and delete rights. They can create cursors etc in their tmpfiles folder.
