Thanks for your reply. I will check this out in detail. But, I missed in mentioning that I have put in duplicates of a problem checkbox, so effectivly I got checkboxes named chklMiscAppli, chklMiscAppli1 and chklMiscAppli2 all of them were disabled.

Update: Also I put it on the form so the thing is floating above all controls and the checkbox worked

Nevertheless I will confirm that the checkbox is renamed so I guess the code should not affect it.
