I haven't seen anything to deny that there are many who believe the office of the president is an all powerful office. There was a blog I saw today where GB had a freudian slip and called it "my government".

Perry;
Some observations about President Bush (the junior).
The President does not seem to be aware of what his administration is doing.
The President says things that his press secretary has to “qualify” like 180 degrees from what was stated.
The President refuses to change any policy he introduces.
The President does not keep congress informed.
The President is the Lord and Master of the Realm.
Oh yes - The President along with Defense Secretary Rumsfeld and Attorney General John Ashcroft, signed off on a secret system of detention and interrogation. Prisoners who are classified as terrorists are not to be afforded the rights under the Geneva Convention. So The President can do as he pleases with any prisoner.
What is the surprise that prisoners are abused? Attorney General Alberto Gonzales supports this policy so it is little wonder that he was the chosen candidate for Attorney General.
Oh well, just stay tuned for the 6 o’clock news! :)
