I am having the same problem. Did you ever find the solution?

I have a class that I can build an exe out of and then suddenly it won't hold the OLE Public setting. I can recreate the class, add all methods and properties, build the exe and have the COM object. After I make a few changes to the class, once again it drops the OLE Public setting and I have to rebuild again.
