Michel is extremely tolerant of differing behaviour and will only ban people when it threatens the existence of the UT. Bans are never a surprize to the person who get them. I think that everyone that has been banned has set out to be banned on purpose.

There was no call for the 2nd ban against JVP. (I never disagreed with the first one. John broke the rules, but Michel re-instated him).

Go back and read the 5-6 JVP messages that were marked as sensitive - they are mild.

It's insightful that you'd suggest those who were banned set out to be banned. I would hope that mindset didn't project to the decisions on banning.

As for Rod - Rod is his own man. OK, you're free to unsubscribe. I didn't walk away from the UT when they banned JVP, though I was extremely disappointed in the decision.
