>>I am using FoxPro 2.6 on the MAC, and being a MAC it decides to give empty error boxes and force a restart from time to time. Since I was in the middle of rebuilding my project it trashed the project file. If I open the project file as a table and try to pack it, I get a Memo file missing or corrupt message. Anyone know a good way to repair this? I really don't want to have to rebuild the project from scratch,it's awfully large. Thanks for the help.

I've had this problem in FPW, and this approach is the most efficient, short of creating a new project and re-building.

I opened the project as a table and looked at some of the memo fields, and got lucky. I found one that was supposed to be the name and path for a report but instead had all kinds of junk in it. I deleted that record, packed the table, closed it and opened the project OK. I had to rebuild the project and a couple of screens but other than that it worked. Thanks for the advice above, that will help when I don't get lucky(most of the time).
