Any idea why it won't keep the formatting?

I've used that method (recordsource = '') a lot with success but when I did this subclassing now it's not keeping the formatting.

Actually it's subclassing of a form 2 levels down - the original form was based on a data entry class and it worked fine but now that the original form became a class itself and created a form based on it, now it won't work.
