Illegal immigrants receive education for free in our country. The debate is over FREE higher education (college). U.S. citizens don't receive 4 years of college for free and so neither should illegal immigrants. Yet in many states they do. Are you saying that if I show up in Netherlands illegally I can go to college for free for four years?
>Sam,

>>> If a government says that everyone has the right to education, how can you enforce illegal aliens to pay for it....
>
>>So whether your legal or illegal shouldn't matter? If so, why not the US gov't educate the everyone in the world for free, regardelss of which country they reside. The US have deep pockets, right?
>
>It is common practise in a lot of western countries that if you
reside in that country you have a right to receive education, whether illegal or not. This certainly is not only the policy of the US, but a dutch one as well.
>
>You can refuse to do so, but you'll bite your own finger by doing that. What you'll think will happen if some people living in the US don't receive education? Are they going to be beneficial to the US economy? I think not. You must see it as an investment, nothing more, nothing less.
