>The funny thing about Coors is that it is brewed from water that comes from Clear Creek. Now clear creek is anything but clear. The commercial they used in the past showing the clear Rocky Mountain spring water was actually shot on the other side of the continental divide in the San Juans. It is a favorite hiking and four-wheeling spot. There is even a plaque there (or was when I was there). Around 1990, Coors was fined civil and criminal fines for polluting Clear Creek with solvents and other toxic chemicals for more than a decade. Think about how long the Coors brewery has been operating. Scary. When I was living in Colorado, it was legal to drink 3.2 beer in Colorado at the age of 18 and 6% at 21. Coors was 3.2 beer and every 7-11 or Circle K sold it by the case. It was known as "Colorado _iss water" there. :o) My personal opinion is that it wasn't any worse than Pabst Blue Ribbon or Old Milwaukee - what was typically drunk in Wisconsin. They used to drink a lot
>of Schlitz, Hamms, and Blatz as well. If I were to choose a beer I would choose Corona with lime or a German Pilz beer with Orange Fanta. I'm not really a beer drinker though and probably haven't had one in a couple of years. The idea of one on a hot sticky North Carolina summer day is always better than the reality. :o)

Each spring they routinely pull bodies out of the water in the stream near the Golden brewery. I'll have another Coors!
