The Mere Mortals .NET Framework
Hi,
Thanks for reply. However stored procedures does not solve our problem. Because not all of the databases support stored procedures. Moreover, we do not have any access to the database server. Connections have to be over web service. However as far as I understand MM .NEt business objects need to access database. Or otherwise you need to write a data access object for each business object. If somehow we could divide functionality of business object in to two, one part related to physical dataaccess the other part dealing with rules and gui related things it would be awesome. Unfortunately, as far as I understand MM .NET does not support this. I have seen in this forum that many people complain about this limitation. I wonder if there are any scheduled plans for incorporating such a powerfull feature in the MM .NET framework. Because we live in the era of enterprise applications and it is such a pitty that such a beatifully designed framework does not fully support enterprise application development.
Well, if can spare enough resources we are planning to find a workaround, however, it would be really very nice if this is done by the oakleaf team.
Regards
Yalcin,
