Sorry for delay in this response for this post. I have purchased VFP 9.0(I haven't yet installed, sort of hesitent, in the middle of modifing a couple of my apps and not sure about changes) which should solve my bulk insert issue.

But I have one more question reguarding the Insert Into using a Select statement as the value. My Select statement needs to produce record sequence numbers as each record is inserted it needs to be a unique record number. How can I handle this?
