Just one caution on what Dave said. I'd be particularly careful in this area. If the screen (form) plays some programmatic "tricks" relying on the loose scoping of variables, you'll find they won't work properly because of VFP's much tighter in this area. I'd pay particular attention to any forms using SCATTER and GATHER to display and update records.
