I think that if the police or military in this country are confronted by someone in a threading manner and lethal force is used then no thought is given to who is innocent or guilty. It is a matter of reaction through training. This is regardless of where such activity takes place.

You do not attempt to sort out who is of what nationality, political persuasion or age. When you are attacked you react. You can evaluate later what you did as will others. You have a fraction of a second to decide what to do. If you wait you and others could be dead.

There are many examples of what I have stated where lethal force was used in the United States. Just one example is Kent State. The police in our country have shot innocent people for whatever reason. We do not make a point to shoot only people in other countries. Guns are made to kill.
