I found the Table that is currently selected when the Error 5 comes from 'read events'...this table, like you suggested, is the RecordSource for a grid that is up and running at that time. But our code is set to ZAP this table right before it would reenter the 'read event' loop where the error is coming from..I guess my question is: Does ZAPing the table not do enough to "clean up" any bad indexes or something else that might cause the grid to give the Error 5 when it was refreshed or initialized?
