You're correct, right in the nads and she wasn't fired or officially disciplined. Her punishment was too do an undesirable job for about 5 years as penance. No employee file citiation, no legal charges. I've asked people about this many times as to why she wasn't canned or charged, and they said it was because the guy was "annoying".

It went down like this. There is a piece of equipment that is used by everyone sometimes and is shared. She had the equipment but she was using it, but not at that very moment. He grabbed the equipment from a table, she shouted at him and grabbed it out of his hands. They grabbed it back and forth until she kicked him in the crotch. I've since met this guy and to me he seems odd and perhaps even borderline simple. Still he doesn't deserve to get kicked in the boys. I would have pressed charged and demanded that she be fired. The boss tat that time was reputedly a machevellian psycho, so god knows what on in terms of negotiations.

I couldn't imagine the homelife of this husband and wife.
