I would say it went nowhere here.

The general belief remains, and is periodically mentioned on historical shows and articles, that ethnic cleansing was underway in Kosovo and that thousands and thousands died.

Periodically (very) there will be a story about the on-going work to find mass graves and identify bodies and they mention numbers no where near what is stuck in peoples' minds and no one bats an eyelash.

I suspect that here one would be classified as belonging with the holocaust denyers if one suggested there was no genocide on-going in Kosovo.
