Yeah, that was pretty bizarre.

I worked on some joint consulting projects with some EDSers and you could tell what kind of organization it was. All very bright and committed, no question about the professionalism, but something a little cultish about it. Conservative dress to the max, rigorous observance of the chain of command, that kind of thing. They weren't very good at "thinking outside the box" because they were taught not to be.
