>>Diagnosed officially today with RHS. Some say it stands for Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, but I'm going with Really Hurts. Sh*t! Instead of being 1 of 4,000 with Bell's Palsy, I'm 1 of 20,000. Pretty special, huh? I'm not quite as light-hearted about this one. Full recovery is only 60% and can take years instead of weeks or months. Now I'm in the big leagues. I was wondering why the pain and symptoms I was having seemed more acute than what those whining candyass BP one's were on about! <s> Ah, well, I still have a pretty good attitude about it. Good thing, as it looks like RH and I are going to be pretty close for awhile. Not looking for sympathy - well, perhaps a little - but anyone have any stories about this new one?

Can't tell you stories as I have never heard of that one. Now I'll have to Google it and do some research to see what's it all about. I do love learning.

Wish you a speedy recovery. And maybe take two aspirins and call in the morning. :)

[Later Update]: Here it is:

So I learn now that what you have is actually Herpes. Ewww! Where have you been? {gd&r}
