Colin Hay, the lead singer from Men at Work lives close by. There's a tiny club across the street from me that's owned by his old manager. So he shows up there frequently to play. Typically he plays accoustically by himself for a while. Then invites out a bunch of other guys to play with him.
When he's playing accousitically, he typically stops between songs for storytime. Sometimes I'm left laughing far harder then at comedy concerts.
One time I fell on the floor laughing was a story he told about doing a recent concert as Men at Work in South America I think. He said there was a guy in front of the stage rather drunk who kept on yelling out for them to play the Goat song.
It finally occurred to Colin he was refering to the line, "Ghosts appear and fade away' from Overkill.
