And your point is?

India has the bomb. Nobody wanted them to have it, but they made one anyway. Pakistan has the bomb. Nobody wanted them to build one either. So far they've threatened each other with them, which is scary, but by engaging at least one side in dialog hopefully we can get a little leverage to keep the bombs in their holes. It may not work, the treaty may be fatally flawed, but it is better than nothing.

Iran does NOT need nuclear power. They have a policy of supporting terror organizations, have declared war on us at least once (although nobody took them seriously), fought a bloody war with Iraq, and have publicly called for the destruction of another country. They are a threat, particularly to their neighbors. They should not be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon. There is no justification in the world for their nuclear program.
