>I'm more south than you are, and maybe even closer to the sea. Two weeks ago we had about 5mm of snow in the morning (not that it survived until lunch :), and that was enough for about 100 car accidents in the area, and it was a Sunday. These southerners just... now imagine proper accent: nEmu pOjma :).
Would you believe it - typical UK - I'm right on the South coast and today, March 3, we get a flurry of snow. Didn't stick though and now the sun's shining. When snow DOES come occasionally the newspapers invariably splash with "Snow brings chaos to Sussex roads". What they mean is: the traffic had to go more slowly. There was snow on the chalk Downs this am but I doubt it'll still be there this evening. Sad, as my kids never get to toboggan (my 10 YO has only done it ONCE in her life, last year).
