Well, it is challenging for a newbie, and I can agree that it's not easy, but then I don't think it's hard, either. I've never understood why some of the gurus were recommending against it. I think it does VFP a disservice. A grid for data entry is the most intuitive solution for a number of scenarios, yet to say it can't and shouldn't be done in VFP makes the VFP grid seem anemic and not a worthy competitor to grids in other languages like VB. I don't think that's accurate at all.
