>>>Hi Gang!

>>>Well, I am trying to fix some problems at a client's site.
>>>
>>>They have a FoxPro 2.6a program running under Windows XP SP2, 504 MB RAM, 3.39 GHz.
>>>
>>>They have in a table some GEN fields (along with Memo). In these GEN fields, they have pict files. They can DBL-CLK on the GEN field, and the field would open up to show the Picture. If they DBL-CLK the picture, it used to open up in the OLE-linked application. But no more. They get a " Cannot Activate OLE Server" error message from FoxPro.
>>>
>>>Any ideas why it may have stopped??

In general use of General fields to store images is not recommended. As you've noticed, .FPT bloat is fierce. It's better to store the images as separate files and just store a file name in the database.
