Well if you're having trouble with enforcing the uniform, that's a different matter. The regular explanation of the idea of uniform is as I said above. Once you start making exceptions, you're after a different definition.

This doesn't mean I like uniforms. Don't get me wrong. Had I liked to wear one, I'd be a postman or a conductor.
