I am terribly sorry I was not able to explain at all what I had meant.

I have the form alright but the user wants to copy a given record previously entered by him. How to go about copying a previously entered record into the currently new record in the form. When the old record is copied a lot of related tables will also have to be copied. I was curious if there is a generic kind of logic, other than hardcoding all the table and field names invloved in the copy.

Hope I have been able to clearly state my thoughts.
