You know very well what I mean by intellisense. And VFP got it in version 7. VB got it in version 5 ( and it worked ) and C++ in VS6 (maybe before that I’m not sure) had it. And in FoxPros first release they didn’t get it right ( not being able to use it inside a with block sucked not to mention that when you use your public object outside3 of the method you declared it bye bye intellisense). If you cant see the example I gave through your rose colored glasses I’ll try to make it clear.
How long did it take FoxPro to get collections? When did we get “For Each” loops( and another case where the release didn’t work)? And don’t even get me talking about the years it took for the report writer to be updated. FoxPro hasn’t exactly been on the bleeding edge of technology for some time.
