Point wasted here. Our countries were empires once (though some of it was on the same land :), and we know it takes generations to get cured from the imperial virus. It may come back after centuries, one is never sure. USA is not even ready to accept that it has caught one, so the cure is long way down the road. And nobody here knows anyone who remembers the nice feeling you get when foreign uniforms parade down your street. So... your message will be misunderstood from two directions.
