Hi Guys,

I'm using SQL 2000 and vfp remote views to access the data. The problem is there are frequent record lockings. There are process IDs that block other processes that causes the system to hang.

I was thinking of using the [shared] property of remote views like the example below


Use vfpdbc_rv!datacenter in 0 alias Datacenter SHARED

will this help on not to lock the table even if someone is using it?
