Say, do you know a drum-n-bass band Disciplin a Kitchme? I know they were on Eu MTV a decade ago, and are basically a transplant of the Belgrade band of the pretty same name - "Discipline of spine" (Koja was still the main guy in it). In one of their songs, I think it was "Don't throw concrete blocks off the top of your house" (don't know how how much of this got into the song title) the nice plump black lady who sings in it says "let's go metric". I thought that was a partly in support of the Isles go-metric campaign. So... how really metric is Britain nowadays? Kilos, liters, meters, Celsius, but miles?
