And then you came along and managed to explain back to me that it is difficult to use and understand. Then you claim this achievement as a personal success. Sure why not? Seems natural. Then you expect me to change in some mysterious way. This part "and despite this wants to be right the same" I just don't get. Can you elaborate? What change did you expect? Please don't make it into another lecture, keep it plain and simple. Something like: "I would expect you, Aleksey, to do/say such and such ...."

Hi Aleksey,
I expect only me for a calmer and available slang to the dialogue,
and even if you tried to see the point of view of others.

This thread has departed with an angry developer because
without documentation VFP9 has changed behavior.

Rather than to answer from offended,
saying that what is not documented it doesn't to be justified,
a professional should say:
- REQUERY works so and so and this way
and the choices 10 years ago sorts have not been happy,
if we are able we will do something we will do it,
we am sorry but the time of VFP is by now passed.

Of course, with to VFP10 I expected a REQUERY(,lnested) upgrade,
but with to VFP9SP2 I cannot certain to ask something.

My intervention is only share to the discussion,
trying to make to understand you where some things could be made better
( this is very hard ! )

With VFP9 and derivated subquery support, a developer can rewrite
the view for a not nested syntax.

After all I don't use views and therefore I prefer that you,
if you have time and desire, adds NULL and NOT NULL to CursorSchema
and allows the change of the cSelectCmd in BeforeCursorRefresh
( I have tried others times to make to understand you
the importance of these features, but without fortune)

Thanks
Fabio
