I will be advising my grand-children to become plumbers, air-conditioning repair people, carpenters, etc. A good tradesman is always going to be find a job. It's going to be a long time (I hope) before all those jobs are out-sourced to India, China, etc.
The only other job type safe from out-sourcing is very senior management. Considering the salaries and bonuses they get they should be the first to go. There HAVE to be people who could do the job 1/3 as well for 1/10 the compensation.
