I heard it long ago, so it may be a legend, but then urban legend doesn't really mean it didn't happen :).
We have another one, about a guy closely following the car in front of him, because its driver seemed to know where he's going. After a while, the front car stops, and they both get out of the cars.
Rear guy: hey, why did you stop?
Front guy: what are you doing in my yard?
