(It's amazing how having carpooled a kid, or coached, or taught her in an after-school class gives you a lifelong interest in how that kid does.) I know the feeling. In 1993 I taught a 10 year old how to pitch and helped him out with his math homework.
Today he's pulling down a 6-figure salary on Wall Street, and still emails me to tell me how he's doing. (I feel OLD now!) ;)
