No - it's a TOSHIBA - cool P4 3+ GH with a wide screen!
But that message did have some info related to how XP trundles an "Office" purchase "object" on the desktop. Maybe a canceled install - or an uninstall of the "Office Purchase" Object has something to do with it. Those guys don't come with a msi - they just hangout on our disk drives.
It's a major PITA buying a `puter loaded with special offers and rootkits. And there is nothing you can do, you say yes to install the OS in your brand new purchase and everything and everybody that wants your credit card number just flows onto the desktop. Sheesh. You get 20 Zillion programs you'll never use. Maybe we should start a consumer movement reuiring vendors that trundle OS with their PC's give the buyer (that's us) the option not to install all those special offers and their "kits".
A lot of those "objects" that are forced on our desktops have corrupt or missinng msi files (so you can't uninstall). And those update checkers / schedulers - who in a right mind would ever want to submit to that stuff.
