Ah, what is the softer version then? I would probably use "putz" here. Or nimrod, loser, etc.
I think that some of them are probably fine, no disputing that zinc and the like have some affect on preventing colds, but for something like what I've got going on, I would have to believe that effective treatments would have already been researched. I also believe that there is always a better treatment than the homeopathic one, it's just that some people would rather go that route than use the processed products produced by the drug giants. I'm not that socially evolved yet. I want the most bang for my buck and to get better as soon as possible.
