This happens before the main "FoxPro" window has appered. It happens both when starting FoxPro 2.6 and the .exe-file for our program.

What is the OS environment? On Win95 there are some compatibility issues. I am not sure of the complete list, but I am sure it is out on the MS KB. Back in the days of DOS, I remember running into a problem with Share.EXE and some other network related files as Arnon has noted. Without a truly reproducable path to follow, these problems are very difficult (if not impossible) to track down. My experience has shown that it is usally the configuration on the individual work station. With 400 users, I guess U can not have consistent OS environment settings. Well, htwh. Steve
