Hi all,

I am importing data from dBase IV files generated by another system. VFP opens a dBaseIV table fine unless it has memo fields. In this case, VFP tells me to open the file exclusively to convert the memo file to VFP memo file. This would be OK in interactive environment, however, I'm trying to import the data without user interventions.

Is there a way to convert the dBase IV table to VFP table without those popup messages?
In other words, is there a way to suppress the messages?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
