I'm trying to create a report with 4 sub reports to appear as below:
+-------------+     +------+
|             |     |  2   |
|             |     +------+
|             |     +------+
|     1       |     |  3   |
|             |     +------+
|             |     +------+
|             |     |  4   |
|             |     +------+
+-------------+
I am having trouble with subreport 1 not appearing on the first page.

I read a topic http://support.businessobjects.com/library/kbase/articles/c2001090.asp that says what I want to do is create a group on a formula that will encompass all records:

ex.

@OneGroup

if{id#}<999999999999
then 1

Then I'm to put subreport 1 into the groupheader and mark it as Underlay, then create multiple group headers for subreports 2, 3 and 4

But the problem is, I cant figure out how to create a group based on a formula!

Can someone help?
