Hi,
When installing anything on the server, log in as the administrator, also the firewall may be blocking something as well.

I've tried adding the anonymous user to a security group that has been assigned to the local drive and the web files drive, and that makes no difference.

One suggestion was to enable object access failure auditing for the anonymous account, and I turned that on but don't get any failures when accessing my AVFP app. As a test, I set up a html page and removed the access permissions for the anonymous account, and if I browse to that page, I get an access failure in the event log.
