Hi Mahmood,

I just try to show one of the possible solutions, which is implemented in MereMortals framework:

If there is a need to shut down an application, the special file shutdown.txt is placed in the Data directory. The application timer finds this file and then after a certain period of time performs the application Close.

That's the basic idea, you need to carefully work out details, if you like it.
