if used("myalias") select myalias if justfname(dbf())=myfilename *-------------- it's okey else *--------- don't success ---- endi else *--------- don't success ---- endi>I am running an app that uses an alias to refer to a table. When I run a report I want to check and make sure that a file is open and the alias is being used else show a message box saying that a file is not open. If it is, then the report should run. I have tried quite a few ways to get this done, but with no luck. The alias is the cause of my trouble. If it were just a filename, I could do this. Any ideas?
