I have been using the ActiveX calendar (the one that comes with VFP 5) in one of my applications for awhile now, and I have had no problems with it...until now. The problems are suddenly occuring in components that have not been changed for months. Whenever I try to pass a date to the control, I get the following error message:
OLE Error Code 0x80020005: Type Mismatch
The error apparently happens when the following line of code fires:
ThisForm.OleCalendar.Object.Value = m.ldMyDate
I have confirmed that m.ldMyDate does, in fact, contain a valid date.
As near as I can determine, this problem started happening after I returned from DEVCON and installed VFP 6, but I cannot say that with absolute certainty. Have any of you had similar problems with the calendar or any other ActiveX components? If so, can you recommend a solution, or point out what I am doing wrong?
Thanks -- Bill
PS -- I have not yet tried to re-install the .OCX from my VFP 5 CD...was saving that as my last resort.
