Are there conventions for folder name, location, etc. when storing information to the Registry? I want to store certain startup options and property values for each user, similar to an INI file, except by using the Registry.

FWIW, I am with Tracy on this one. I use an ini file for my application specific settings.

I would never want the pain of having to walk one of my end users through regedit < s >

Free advice is generally worth every penny you pay for it < s >.
