All,

I have tried to implement a splash screen that has a jpg on it with the form itself being transparent to no avail. The splash screen itself has worked nicely for several years, so it isn't the problem...simply making the background color transparent is where I am lacking.

I have read over the Solutions Sample on irregular shape forms and tried to use that code to force my form to be transparent....but it doesn't work. I think part of the problem may be that the example uses a fully instantiated form that is THEN made transparent by clicking a button. I don't want any user interaction, just a splash screen.

The other part of the problem is my lack of experience with the Windows programming....VFP I get, the rest has me baffled.

The form is Top Level.

Any and all assistance would be very much appreciated!

TIA,
Phil Thomas
