One excellent improvement in VFP 5 (vs 3.0... at least I think that 3.0 didn't have it) is the ability to include expressions in what is selected for the view within the View Designer. This substantially increases the usefulness of parameterized views. It used to be that you could only use expressions by programmatically issuing the Create View command.
