Whew. Glad to hear it. You are more right than I was in putting it in GotFocus, though. Did you make sure you cancel the OKL in the LostFocus?

Also, I researched how to do it with the KeyPress event but KeyPress doesn't respect Alt.

>You were absolutely right. I was trying to pack the keyboard using an external prg - ON KEY LABEL DO STUFFDATE. Obviously I had a scope problem. Put your code in the gotfocus event and it worked fine.
