Really responding to Tracy .... can't stand navigating my way through the long threads here, that part of the UI needs some work....

Katharine caught my attention from her first audition. What impressed me was she didn't try to belt the roof off, although she could have. She just stood there and sang with understatement and complete assurance. I was wowed, and have been wowed ever since. Do I think she will win? No. But do I think she is among the most talented singers in the contest? Yes.

Kevin was voted off last night. Hallelujah. Bucky still has to go and after that we will be down to the bona fide contenders. The bottom three were Kevin, Bucky, and Lisa. Lisa's inclusion, for the second straight week, baffles me. She sang "Why Do Fools Fall In Love" and burned it down. She nailed it, dawg, she worked it out ((c) Randy Jackson). And still wound up in the bottom three. I don't get it.

10 contestants to go. I can't wait.
