I cannot return false in the current design because the new object is a new portion of the screen - based on something the user just did. I must remove the old portion first before creating the new one, because they both have the same object name.

In fact the mechanism is really cool because it's an object, the old objects could be shoved in a stack and essentially brought right back to return the user exactly where they were on the form. Just makes demands on memory that's all.

If I can just get through this mucky situation, that is ...
