Here is the basic moral principle of bible: "..You say, I am allowed to do anything. But not everything is good for you. And, even though I am allowed to do anythning, I must not become a slave to anythning.." 1 Corinthians 6:12

Far from it.. You decide what is good for you and all of yours..

The bible it isn't a set of rules.. it is a set of orientation for a quality of life.. The values over there it is only a care from the creator for his creatures..

Outside of this set of values many and many things loose the sense.. The God's promisse is about the best period of our existence: The life on the glory after we passed through.. And says that we don't have to hurry up for anything.. And no treasure will matter on the end of this life..

IOW, if you see on the bible a set of bad orientation.. The opposite side of it is: "ME" as the center of universe.. ME to be served.. ME to take the best.. ME, ME and ME..

Here is my point.. I'm not writing this thread to convert anyone or even talk what everyone should believe or not.. I'm here because there is many false approuch about christianity been write down here.. So, just to clarify some point exposed..

It is not a question of religiosity.. Just to clarify those points.. Nothing else..

Please.. Feel free to believe in anything that you want..
